Insulating breather membrane and weather barrier
SKYTECH PRO-XL
Air-tightness and building protection
With the generalization of Low-energy buildings, air-tightness of the building envelope is a major concern to reach internal thermal comfort and achieve significant energy savings. Skytech creates a closed envelope, increases wind-tightness, reflects 95% of radiation and avoids thermal bridges for a better comfort in summer as well as during winter.
Thanks to its patented technology, Skytech makes it possible to install a breather membrane and an insulating material at the same time while ensuring that the building remains breathable (allowing the water vapour to escape).
Beside its thermal benefits and thanks to its high tear resistance and its high density (105 kg/m3), Skytech alone gives a 16 dB sound reduction performance.
Product benefits
Thermal comfort during summer and winter (Reflective insulation)
Vapour-permeable
Improves wind-tightness
Tear resistant
Non combustible
The new has joint tape attached to its product.
No need for subsidiary tape materials, Construction time and air-tightness construction is improved.

Advantage
Skytech, suitable for new build or refurbishment projects
Skytech is the only roofing membrane which is:
Waterproof
Non combustible
Vapour-permeable
Tear resistant
By creating a closed envelope on the roof and under cladding, Skytech:
Avoids thermal bridge
Avoids safety gaps around chimney ducts.
Improves existing or new insulation
For a successful application
Skytech can be used for all kinds of pitched roofs (roof tiles, slates …) or wall claddings (wood, PVC, sprayed rendering…). Skytech provides both weather barrier and insulation functions. Ideal for refurbishment or new build projects. Skytech is vapour-permeable so it can be applied in direct contact with wood sheeting or any insulating materials. For outdoor installation, we strongly recommend to wear UV400 sun glasses.
